Therapy for Relationship Anxiety

I specialize in working with anxious adults who are eager to understand their romantic relationship patterns. You might find yourself preoccupied with what your partner is or isn't doing, questioning whether you're in the right relationship, or worrying that you'll never find "the one." You may long for deep connection while feeling anxious about commitment, uncertainty, or vulnerability. You have meaningful friendships and a rich inner life, and you want a partnership that feels just as nourishing. You hold yourself to high standards and sometimes wonder whether you're being discerning or simply too picky. Together, we'll explore the roots of these patterns, strengthen your trust in yourself, and help you build relationships from a place of clarity rather than fear.

Trauma Therapy

I work with adults who have experienced childhood trauma, developmental trauma, or adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and are seeking a fresh, transformative approach to healing. Past trauma often leaves behind ingrained patterns, emotional wounds, and physical symptoms that can prevent us from finding the love, peace, and fulfillment we desire.

In our work together, we’ll focus on managing and understanding symptoms like body tension, shame, fear, intrusive thoughts, and emotional over-reactivity in relationships. While learning to manage these symptoms is an important step, the goal is to help you move beyond simply coping. We’ll work toward achieving true healing and embracing the possibility of post-traumatic growth—a space where you can live freely, authentically, and without the constant weight of the past. If you’re ready to explore how trauma therapy can help you break free from old patterns and create lasting change, reach out for a consultation today.

Couples Therapy

At the heart of my work is the belief that much of our individual healing happens within relationships. When both partners are committed to growth, couples therapy creates a space where each person can flourish.

I work with couples who are ready to dig deep, take personal responsibility, and build the connection they desire. This can include exploring how division of labor is functioning, repairing past hurts, improving communication, and learning to embrace and accommodate each other’s differences. Couples therapy offers the tools to rebuild and strengthen your bond. For therapy to be most effective, both partners must be equally engaged in the process. If you and your partner are ready to commit to this work, reach out to book a consultation and see how I can help you thrive together.

I help couples in a variety of contexts: dating, pre-engagement, premarital, married, LGBTQ+, and ethical non-monogamy.

Therapy for Highly Sensitive Adults

I specialize in working with highly sensitive adults who experience life with intensity, depth, and emotional precision. You might pick up on everything: tone shifts in conversation, subtle changes in energy, the emotional undercurrents in a room. It can be beautiful, but also exhausting. You may feel easily overstimulated, emotionally flooded, or like you need more recovery time than other people seem to. In relationships, you might care deeply and feel deeply, while also getting overwhelmed by how much you’re taking in. Therapy here is about helping you work with your sensitivity, not against it, so you can stay open without burning out.

Therapy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

I specialize in working with adults struggling with obsessive compulsive patterns, especially around relationships and morality. You may get stuck questioning whether your relationship is “right,” whether you love your partner enough, or whether you’re secretly a bad or unethical person. These thoughts don’t feel like passing worries. They feel urgent, convincing, and emotionally charged, and they can pull you into cycles of reassurance-seeking, analysis, or self-interrogation that never actually resolve anything. In therapy, we focus on helping you step out of those loops, so intrusive thoughts stop running your decision-making and your values can take the lead again. I use the gold standard approach to OCD therapy called Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).

Therapy for Attachment Wounds

I specialize in working with adults who are exploring how early attachment experiences continue to shape their relationships today. You may notice that closeness can feel deeply meaningful, but also complicated at times, especially when connection feels uncertain or inconsistent. You might find yourself becoming very aware of shifts in tone, distance, or availability in others, and trying to make sense of what those shifts mean about the relationship. At times, you may move toward reassurance or clarity-seeking, and at other times, you may step back to regain a sense of steadiness and self-protection. Together, we slow down these patterns so you can understand them more clearly, relate to them with less urgency, and build relationships that feel more grounded, mutual, and emotionally safe over time.
